At SAFECROWDS, our robust approach to risk management means that we not only equip you to protect people against potential terror attacks; we also provide potentially life-saving equipment to help reduce the consequences should an incident occur.

We are proud to support RAPAID, the emergency bandages charity, by purchasing our emergency bandages kits from them, and deploying the kits at every temporary HVM installation. Our emergency bandages kits are included in the service we provide and, combined with our first-aid and ACT (Action Counters Terrorism) trained personnel, they ensure that help is always at hand if the worst should happen.

About our RAPAID emergency bandages kits

Our RAPAID emergency bandages kits are designed for ease of use. This means that they can be deployed to stop the bleed by anyone – whether that’s our team, your team, or a member of the public. They will stop the bleed in the event of an accident or incident, increasing the chances of survival from a major injury and keeping the victim alive until the emergency services arrive.

Each kit contains:

  • Military grade emergency bandages.
  • Protective gloves.
  • Laminated instructions with simple icons for at a glance familiarisation.

We have RAPAID kits in two sizes:

  • Emergency bandages bags, which are a portable addition to HVM installations, containing eight emergency bandages in a waterproof, paramedic quality bag.
  • Major event emergency bandages kits, which contain 20 bandages and are mounted on a free-standing unit for use in stadiums, large venues and crowded events.

Why we deploy RAPAID emergency bandages kits

The security professionals, K9 detection services, HVM equipment and risk assessments we provide are all part of our joined-up approach to protecting people from terror attacks. But we know that accidents and incidents can still happen, and, if they do, we have a duty of care to be prepared. We do this in a number of ways:

  • Every member of our team has been first aid trained.
  • Every member of our team has completed ACT training to ensure they know what to do to protect themselves and others in the event of a terror attack.
  • Our RAPAID emergency bandages kits are available to stop the bleed until the emergency services arrive.

We hope that no-one will ever need to use any of the emergency bandages we provide with our RAPAID kits, but we know you and your customers will benefit from the peace of mind that comes with knowing our kits are on site should they ever be needed.
