Our experienced behavioural detection teams are trained to identify behaviours that could present a security or terrorist threat to people, property or places.

Blending inconspicuously into the crowd, our behavioural detection teams work with your team and their security, stewarding and counter terrorism colleagues to enhance vigilance regarding any known threats, and identify any suspicious behaviours.

Our behavioural detection professionals can play a vital role for a wide variety of security, safeguarding and terrorism threats including:

  • Hostile reconnaissance for a terror attack
  • Stalking or predatory behaviours
  • Protestors, disruptors and the threat of criminal damage
  • Theft and pickpocketing
  • Aggressive behaviour, hate crime and hooliganism
  • Drug dealing and other organised crime activities
  • Vulnerable individuals

Many of our behavioural detection specialists have been trained in the military or the police and have experience in noticing subtle red flags, such as individuals who avoid being picked up by CCTV. If they have concerns about an individual or group, they will proactively take preventative action, such as alerting security or contacting the police.

Our behavioural detection specialists are also trained in ‘the power of hello’, using the simple technique of starting a conversation to establish whether a person is at risk, or presents a threat before taking appropriate action.
