If you’re looking to kickstart your career as a door supervisor in the UK, this nationally recognised qualification is a must. It provides the essential skills and knowledge required to work effectively in the private security industry. As a door supervisor, you’ll often be the first point of contact for businesses and customers, requiring the ability to manage potentially challenging environments. Upon completion, candidates can apply for the Security Licensing Authority (SIA) Door Supervisor License.

We offer two options:

  • A six-day entry-level course for those starting out.
  • A two-day top-up course to refresh the knowledge of current door supervisors.

An SIA Security Officer License is mandatory for anyone working as a security officer in the UK, and this course covers everything you need to know. From property protection to patrolling and theft prevention, this qualification is ideal for those looking to work in corporate or retail security roles. Completing this course enables you to apply for the SIA Security Guarding License.

We offer:

  • A four-day entry-level course for new security officers.
  • A one-day top-up course for those renewing their qualification.

This one-day course is perfect for those working at front-of-stage pit barriers at festivals, concerts, and live events. Designed to enhance the skillset of stewards and security personnel, it provides the necessary knowledge to work safely and effectively in these environments.

For professionals in frontline roles ensuring safety at public events, this qualification bridges the gap between SIA license-linked qualifications and spectator safety. Topics covered include behaviour detection, infrastructure for venue safety, and managing the safe ingress of attendees.

This accredited qualification provides essential knowledge and skills for working in spectator safety. A valid Level 3 First Aid qualification, with at least 12 months remaining, is required for this course.

A mix of classroom and remote learning over three days, this course is designed for supervisory roles in match day and event stewarding. Learners must hold a valid Level 3 First Aid qualification with at least 12 months of certification remaining.

This one-day course equips you with essential first aid skills, allowing you to respond confidently to workplace injuries and illnesses. It also covers when to seek professional medical help.

Delivered as a one-day course, this qualification enables learners to identify and address common workplace hazards, ensuring a safer working environment.

Ideal for those in supervisory roles, this three-day course offers an in-depth overview of workplace hazards, risk assessments, and mitigation techniques.

This one-day course is perfect for individuals who perform or oversee manual handling tasks. It covers the risks and best practices for safe manual handling, including practical assessments.

Designed for workplace fire marshals, this one-day course covers safe evacuation procedures, including personal emergency evacuation plans (PEEPs), ensuring you’re prepared in case of a fire.

This one-day qualification is ideal for anyone in a customer-facing role across sectors like retail, hospitality, or events, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service.

A five-day course designed for security professionals looking to advance their careers. This qualification builds on SIA licenses, introducing management, leadership, and supervisory skills to enable effective security contract management and team deployment.

Our Counter Terrorism Courses

Prepare your team to face the evolving terror threat with confidence through SAFECROWDS’ comprehensive counter terrorism courses. Designed to strengthen resilience and boost preparedness, our training equips you with the knowledge and skills needed to protect both your people and your premises.

As Martyn’s Law (Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Bill) moves through Parliament, it’s set to place mandatory responsibilities on venues and events with a capacity of 200 or more people to assess risks and take proactive steps to safeguard against terror threats.

The legislation divides venues into two categories:

Standard Duty (200-799 capacity):

  • Mandatory staff training
  • Completion of a risk assessment

Enhanced Duty (800+ capacity):

  • Appoint a designated senior officer
  • Complete and regularly update a risk assessment
  • Maintain an ongoing security plan
  • Implement ‘reasonably practicable’ counter terrorism measures

At SAFECROWDS, we leverage our in-house expertise to help you meet these new obligations with tailor-made counter terrorism awareness and training solutions. Our courses cover everything from understanding current threat levels and building resilience to improving situational awareness, recognising suspicious behaviour, and responding to threats effectively.

Training your staff to prepare for a potential attack not only reduces the impact but ensures they are equipped to act quickly and confidently, knowing there’s a plan in place – steps that can save lives.

We also offer desktop training sessions and practical exercises to test your organisation’s counter terrorism strategies. These sessions help identify any gaps in your plan and ensure all key personnel are fully prepared to take decisive action in the event of a real incident.

Stay ahead of your obligations and keep your people safe with SAFECROWDS’ expert counter terrorism training.
