Installation
The highly versatile SafetyFlex Truckstopper 6-30 can be fitted as a standalone HVM solution in a range of environments, including locations with complex ground contours and inclines. The system is designed to enable the protective HVM array to follow the contours of the ground, including around corners, bends, and inclines.
The Truckstopper 6-30’s shallow foundations make this bollard system fast to install, without the risk of disruption to existing below ground services, and we will arrange and co-ordinate all civils works for you.
Once the HVM system is in service, individual bollards can be removed and replaced in the event of an impact, without the need to remove or replace the concrete foundation, ensuring maintenance and repairs are as simple as possible throughout the system’s service life.
Performance
The Truckstopper 6-30 has been crash-tested to prevent a 7.5 tonne truck at 30mph at 90 degrees from penetrating the protected area.
